      Helluva deal. Those were pretty hi-tech back in the day. $500 doesn't buy much now days, so I think you did really well. I'd do whatever you need to do to make it safe/reliable and ride the piss out of it. If you can ride well, It will run a mid-12 1/4. (They had about 80bhp).

                          That was supposed to be in reference to my own vaguely-to-not-so similar bike for rolling around campus, which is a 90cc Honda that'll do right around 100 mpg, but I kind of left the important part of that out.

                                Well, rode it around yesterday. Started bogging and finally died. Now it won't run. It will start and stay alive with the choke all the way on though.
