  • Where do you workout?

My wife and I have been going to the Cedar Hill Rec Center to work out. In a few weeks it is time to re-enroll.

Where do you guys workout...not the specific location but 24 hr, la, etc? How much does it cost? La Fitness shows online to be 9.95 a week... I am assuming they have monthly or maybe even yearly contracts?

There is an La Fitness about 9 miles from us that I am thinking about looking into. The nice thing about the CH Rec center is that it is about 3-4 miles from our house and is never very busy. The downside is they have limited equipment and no raquetball court. We pay 20 a month or 150 a year per person to be members here.

24 hr, free because I work there but it's usually $30-37 /month depending on when you sign up.

L.A. here @ $29/mo. Paid first and last upon sign-up. No contract.

Equipment, once down, remains down for far too long IMO.

Just checked the website for you, its 25/month with a 30 enrollment fee right now. That will end tomorrow at midnight and probably go back up to retail which is 37/month.

Thanks. I didn't check the 24 hr fitness site yet because I don't think there is one in a reasonable distance.

Anybody workout at the LA Fitness in Duncanville off of 67?

24 hr here...although I've only been once this year. But I got this membership so cheap, I don't really want to let it go.

But it's soooo small. Well at least most of them are. Is it not a bitch the get the equipment you want when you want it?

24hr here and I love the hours and equipment.
It does get rather crowded at times though.

The one here isn't crowded at all but it is extremely limited on equipment choices.

Nice gyms. If I could afford it I'd probably work out there too.

24 hour here as well. I hit the one in lake worth which is newer. Equipment is pretty nice, and when I go it's not overly crowded. I pay 35 a month and can go to any of them pretty much
