These are my last pair, from Amazon. Cloud Flows, I like them a lot, but at the toe line it is has a little stitching, just beneath the laces that I do not feel in the other models. Not enough to hate them, but a little noticeable unless I tighten them up a tad bit more. Not al models have that stitch line.

So, over the last few weeks, I've been through four pairs of running shoes. After running a few times on the new tread, I started experiencing runners knee. So besides doing exercises to help with that, I started looking for better shoes.
I went to a running specialty store in Boulder. They shot video of me running and found that I had severe pronation on my left ankle. Also, I was wearing shoes that were a size to small. I got a new pair of Brooks adrenaline shoes to correct that and went on my way.
I ran a mile on the tread and once more I had a lot of knee pain. So back to the shoe store I went. They gladly traded in the Brooks for some Hoka shoes that provided more arch support. Again I tried running but again I had knee pain.
This time I went to a different running store. I found one that is run by a world champion marathon runner, who is also a Physical Therapist. He found a few things. One, my left leg is shorter than my right. He also thought I should go with even larger shoes than I had originally be given. So he sold me a few wedges for my heel and sent me back to the other shoe store to exchange for Brooks Beast shoes.
On Friday I go running again. Very little knee pain. I report back to the 2nd shoe store. They took another video of my running and there was no evidence of pronation. GREAT right?
So yesterday I go for a run and push myself a bit. My knee responds with a hearty FUCK YOU. So now I'm beating my head against a wall and looking to check in with my orthopedic specialist.

I jumped on the ON Cloud X based on this thread, and the opinion of my brother in law.
They have been a great cross trainer so far, but Rob is not lying when he says they feel like a cleat at first.
I’ve only put 10 miles on them so far but they are getting better each time out.
Running is something I don’t enjoy and only do out of necessity, so a good show makes the difference.
