I took the 68 to a oil change shop for the inspection and they didn't even look under the hood. Gave the guy insurance paperwork, he charged me $7.00, told me a story about he should have kept his 'stang.

The current place I goto doesn't pop the hood and does the inspection in less than 5 minutes. Two places I went before were looking over my 1990 mustang trying to find something to fail me on.
