2009 Lincoln MKX will not crank over. Anti-Theft Light is blinking faster than it normally does. When I turn the key over nothing happens. The radio will power up but nothing else. Only have one key due to the other getting lost so can’t check if it’s actually the key or not. This has happened a few times in the last year but after some time the car would finally crank over and start. Is this something I’ll have to take to the dealership to fix or can a regular automotive shop take care of it? My concern is if it turns out to be a bad key will the dealer be the only ones who can reprogram the new set of keys?
