Default 2010 5.4 cam phasers

Anyone here have experience with cam phaser lock outs and tuning? Bought a Navigator with bad phasers and trying to find cheapest/best way to fix this pain in the ass.....

Make sure your base oil pressure is good and it has 5w20 oil in it, if that checks out then the lockouts are definitely the way to go. With the wedge kit it's not that complicated of a repair, without it the entire timing cover and chain comes off. If you have lots of miles it might be better to do the chains and guides at the same time.
