There may be some but this really is an inaccurate statement on the police department end of the spectrum. If we need a warrant, we get a warrant. Police officers realize that if we can use it on you, someone can use it on us. Not once have I heard any discussion of no-warrant wire taps on my level. Now, maybe move into some of the "elite" agencies. Also some of that shit the countries higher ups get away with blows us away. If you subpoena my lap top and I wiped it, I would be under the jail. If anyone in the department helped, or I knew assisted, they would be under the jail with me. If I got on the stand, and they had any evidence of wrong doing, and I plead the filth, under the jail.

The problem is, I bet there are not many people working in certain areas of the government that haven't done something, that could get them in trouble. We probably need some sort of reform at most levels of government. But where do you start? When the guy that needs to hold you accountable has dirty laundry, good luck. Even sentencing could probably use some work. Like life for drug offenses, but letting out a guy with agg assault times three, burglary times ten, theft times thirty, I mean there is no hope for some. I am a big fan that if you get popped once for say a non violent crime, let it fall off your record after three years for a misdemeanor, and maybe five for a felony. Give people a chance to recover from a mistake they made when they are younger. But the bad folks, throw away the key. I think I got side tracked! I guess what I am getting at is we have such tough rules on our level but the higher ups just thumb their nose at the system.

I always like to remind folks Bush passed “the patriot act” that allowed all of this and now everyone is pissed because Obama used it. The only person that spoke out against that steamy pile of poo was Ron Paul. Ron was and is right: we need to get rid of the Fed, the Patriot Act, and Affordable health care act. If we named our laws accurately this two would be called the domestic spying and espionage act and free health insurance for the lazy act. Anyone who thinks health insurance and actual doctor or nurse providing healthcare is the same thing is a fucking retard.

Ever hear of the stingrays? No warrant needed to spoof your phone into telling the police things that they have historically need a warrant for.

Yep and before it was known as the Patriot Act it was known as the Biden Omnibus Security Act of 1994

It’s really scary how anyone that actually wants to follow the entire Constitution is ostracized by both parties so quickly. It’s why like it or not Trump was the best choice. He’s trying.

I thought of this when I was going to respond yesterday and did some searching. I thought there was a sheriffs department somewhere that sued for information or to take them down. I have never heard of anyone on my level around here having access to those but who knows. Of course people bitch about those and then add home automation! No telling what some of that shit is listening too.......and you bought it and put it in your house.

Interesting article. The way people throw police around is what I find to be funny and a little misleading. I would say federal agents have the access, not your locals. Maybe it is just me.

                  • Yeah we really do need some privacy laws to keep these companies from doing this. But, there will be open source alternatives, that don't spy and don't report anything back to the company somewhere. For example if you'd like to have Alexa but you don't want the spying, just hang on for a bit and then buy a MyCroft. If you scroll down a bit you can see the one I'll get. The model 1. Well you'll be able to get the model 2 in the model 1 housing. The model 1 is out now but its for enthusiasts who want to dive into its guts and program it and stuff. The model 2 is for people who just want to turn it on and use it.

I'm sure there will also be open source house automation stuff too.

If you have ANY felony charges just ask for a subpoena to see if a stingray was used in your case, what the stingrays specs are, if the arresting agency has any and if they have used them and you will see your charges magically disappear.

DPD has about 10 stingrays, Carrollton also has one. Every Fed has one or can get their hands on one with next to no effort.

                      • The gamers and incels are reporting the Instagram hoes that send nudes for cash to the IRS for audits, and the IRS is already starting audits on some.

THOTs are finding out that all the income generated from their breasts and vagina is taxable, and they're freaking the fuck out.

LMAO! Thots love socialism, but only when they don't have to pay for it.

                        • Normally I'd laugh at that, but one of my goals in life is to live to see the IRS dissolved. If it looks like i may not make it, I'll attempt to summon the blood god that he may come down from on high and destroy it. Using the very blood of the IRS employees as payment, of course.

But guys... guys. Has it come to this? Are we going to have to admit it? Obviously, it was our error to ever give women the vote. Yes, now it seems that most of what ails our country was, oddly enough, created by women and their biological imperatives. So are we going to have to admit that the muslims got something right? I still draw the line at the black trash bags. But damn it if it doesn't look like the bastards were right about almost everything else regarding women. Even the rape accusations.

"Well were there any witnesses? No? So you could just be saying this because you're insane, or you're a fool, or you're a liar and a cheat, you're greedy, you're seeking revenge, you're seeking attention, etc etc etc".

I left back in April, drove a Uhaul From Sacramento down to Bakersfield, and then west, and enjoyed it immensely because I didn't have to get out of the vehicle. Arguably one of the most beautiful states in the nation, but insufferable to live there if you don't have FU money.

Is be, though? The two biggest things that stick out are supporting banning bump stocks and saying we should just confiscate firearms from potentially dangerous people without due process
