    Mexican food in dfw area

    What in your opinion are some of the best mexican food places in the DFW area? GO > > > >

    El Ranchito in Oak Cliff used to be really good but it's been years since I've gone so it might have gone down hill.

            I suppose it's Tex-Mex, but my favorite is Mariano's in Arlington, across 360 from Six Flags. Sit on the right side (bar area) and ask for Filipe. The chicken fajitas and the tilapia are my top picks. Two salsas, both addicting. Heroin beans from Pluto. Good margaritas. Chill atmosphere.

                          I've found that the best Mexican food is where I have to point at the menu because neither of us can understand a damn word the other is saying.
