ok this is a dumb question i dont know wtf this is it goes form the fuel tank to the car but is not the fuel pump because it has a intank fuel pump. i wouldn't think it was a filter because it has wires going to it. is it some kind of second deary fuel pump?

possible it is an inline pump, but pictures would help alot!

It's not an inline pump. I dont think GM has ever used a booster pump. It sounds like a fuel pressure sensor.Originally posted by butt86Comment

Could be evap canister/solenoid, thats mounted back there.Comment
