      I read Casino Royale several years ago and wasn't especially impressed. To me it read more like a romance novel with a couple of spy bits thrown in.

                          Casino Royale was one of the best bond movies ever. And I sat and watched all the bond movies a few years ago, so I was pretty versed when I made the bold claim. Quantum was crap, I don't even remember much of the plot, and I left the theater disappointed.

                            I've seen all the Bond movies. I think CR was probably the best ever made. The purists can suck my dong. Can a mod change the title of this thread to Skyfall since we have a name now?

                              the original casino royale was absolutely terrible if any of you have bothered to see it.

                              I liked the new one, but my heart for favorite bond movie has got to be Dr. No or GoldenEye.
