Head Gasket FRPP Boss 302 to iron GT40

I'm building a boss block 347 and for now want to us my ported iron GT40 heads. The bolt holes will be drilled out for the 1/2 studs.

Ford racing says the boss block won't work with stock heads, but it does work with the gt40x heads? Same head except material?

The boss block has has extra water passages, but most heads don't have them? They just get blocked off by the head?

Will this work? Use the frpp gasket for the boss block or a felpro 1011 to match head?

If it matters the car has turbo.


PS: I plan to by better heads when money allows. Not now though.

you have to use the gasket for the block. do not use 1011 gaskets. you will see why as soon as you put coolant in it. the 1011 leaves exposed jackets that will leak straight onto the floor

Will this cometic gasket work? It says not compatible with stock heads?

what bore is your block? That gasket is for big bores

I would bet youre looking for a 4.100 gasket like this

It is 30 over- 4.030

The one I linked has place on bottom to select bore.
