Tail lamp pane and trunk latch and striker on. The trunk now closes and stays closed

Gotta mess with the trunk a bit as far as adjustment. Looks pretty alright so far.

Nice. I admire the stones it takes to take all that shit apart and remake it.

Default 1967 Mustang coupe Build.

This pic was after my first coating of the rust removal gel, I bought a soda blaster but this stuff is BUILT UP! Itís a good 24 years worth of rust build up.

This one is is after my 4th round of the rust removal. Hopefully a couple more times through and it will be set up pretty good. Atleast enough to start just getting a good primer on it to protect the metal for now.

After just a basic self etch primer to keep the metal from rusting again.

Put on some nice DTM epoxy primer. I could NOT get this stuff to spray right. I think Iím gonna have to add in a reducer , itís SO heavy.
So Iíll scuff it up, and add another thick filler coat.

You probably need a bigger nozzle on your spray gun. The last DTM epoxy I sprayed called for a 1.8-2.0 tip. My 1.4 needed the stuff reduced too much and defeated the fact that it was a high build. I picked up a cheap gun from TCP Global for like $50, works great.

And I hope you stripped that self etch off, the epoxy is what you want to seal the metal, not etch

It was a light coat of the self etch stuff. Basically to just get something on to help just prevent even a small amount of light dusting of rust. . But I sanded it all down pretty good before I applied the primer. The primer is kind of a hybrid. It can be applied to metal or other primer. . Itís not a sealer primer. And my tip is a 1.8. I called the paint shop and they recommended I reduce it some and try and make sure my gun is clean re-spray. So Iíll go pick some more up today
