  • Who's an expert in here?

Certainly not me, but I did lose almost 40lbs this year, won a fitness challenge at work, ran a half marathon for the first time this summer, ran 7.5 miles this week and my pecs are sore as hell right now.

I don't know dick about supplements and my weight training routine could probably be tightened up, but I'm out there doin' it.

    How about you?

Heh, for me the hardest part is keeping it up. I have a tendency to go whole-hog into something like working out and eating right, and I do it to such an extreme that I either injure myself or burn out and go swimming in a vat of nacho cheese (figuratively, that is).

I'm getting better about it though.

I'm just getting started, and learning alot already.

For the research ive done, and the people ive talked to diet is key. This is where i lack, but im learning what i need to reach my goal.

Its easy to go throw weights around and run. To get the most out of it is what im trying to figure out.

I am down over 150lbs of body fat and have put on an assload of muscle in 10 years. Not the expert but learned a lot along the way. Not in perfect shape either but my physical was good other then cholesterol a tad high. To me average is fantastic after being near death at 30. I weigh 240 right now and that is lower then highschool and I lift every week.
