    He left the valve covers off and water got in the crank case and it's still there after 2 oil changes.. And before that they had taken the lifters out, half way disassembled them, clean and pumped brake clean through them and put them back in dry, and I'm afraid they may have bottomed out before getting a chance to get any oil, and it may have damaged the lifters, as oil doesn't shoot out of be pushrods but dribbles if any oil gets to the top.


    It's going to be a fun time fixing this one.

    Do a search on LS1tech, there have been a LOT of problems with the LS7 lifters. I think Comp sells some for about the same price that are the better option.

            Sorry, it's not the Comp lifters, it's the lunati lifters. $189 for a set. The LS7 is hit or miss on the quality and considering what it takes to get them out, I wouldn't cheap out.

              Never had a problem with LS7 lifters. The exhaust valves, absolutely. The needle bearings in the rocker arms on the 2007s, yes.

                It's a flip car. As long as the work, it'll be fine.
