Social media, where any virtual nobody can anonymously have their moment of internet fame, has ended most fact-based rational debate.

Leave it at that and move on while they throw their toddler hissy.
True, I just don't have the energy anymore. Though living in Denton might be part of the problem. every 3rd car I pass has a Beto bumper sticker on it.

and they act like that in real life too.

I basically spend my time with my wife and kid or out in my garage these days. I try to avoid humans I can't claim on my taxes.

LOL, I get it. I still like to tell ‘em to eff off if they spout shit in public.

Interesting point. This should become a PhD research topic although it would be wildly unpopular.

Not possible. He'll never even get past Joe Biden.

Bernie may have handed HRC her ass in 2015-2016 if the DNC hadn't done so much to bring him down within their own party. Never say never. That's how you end up like all of the snowflakes that knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that Trump would never beat HRC.

Dude has charisma and it seems the media are starting to adore him, but what I don't underestimate are politicians willing to eat their own to get ahead.

People flying in and out of Austin-Bergstrom International Airport can now see a gigantic likeness of Beto O'Rourke out of their plane's window.

Nothing matters anymore, substance, decency? Nah. Whatever/Whoever is not a republican or center right. That's all they care about. Moderates will make or break these future elections. Unfortunately, I believe moderates are shrinking in some shape or form every day by many different means. Politics has become all out war and survival, and its affecting every aspect of life. I remember the days when no one cared about politics. No one knew who anyone voted for.

Kind of hard to make everyone dependent on the state when no one cares about politics.

I read a great article this morning about the Chinese in California and how this whole socialism thing is making them ditch the Democrats. They are saying they left that shit behind for a reason.

And what exactly, stops them from doing that again? Also Joe biden sucks up too much of what the fake Mexican needs to make it there. Doesn't matter if its close, it'll be enough. I'd agree that beto would stand some chance at getting to run against trump, if it weren't for Biden. With Biden running, he'll never get that far. Lastly, have you watched his public appearances? He's no bernie sanders that's for sure. He skateboards and does other retarded shit that bernie would just know better than to do, and for good reason. There aren't enough 16 year olds, and there aren't enough of the extreme left. He's still got to convince the older, more moderate democrats and that shit ain't gonna fly. They'll say no, given these options, we want Biden.

I looked this dude up. I was half surprised to learn that Robert Francis Orourke is a rich welsh kid and a convicted drunk driving burglar with a failed previous republican political career as well as a failed punk band.

Hard to make up stuff that ridiculous.
