So what you're saying is, you might as well be using an oven, like Chris? I'm sure you can get a pretty pink apron to match, too.

If the oven could produce smoke in a variety of different "flavors", sure!

      Set it and forget it!

In the same way that Velveeta is "cheese". Pellets are not, and should not be considered sticks.

The Egg is MONEY. I've made the best Filet Mignon on it ever... (helps that it got up to 800*+)

                    1 LHDA - LARGE EGG $682

                    1 AT - ASH TOOL KIT $15

                    1 FS24 - FIRE STARTERS $8

                    1 CP - CHARCOAL $23

                    1 PSL - Plate Setter $61

This is what I paid ~2mo ago from Capital Distributing.

The good ones get up to 900 Degrees..

So clean, easy to maintain ...

I was against one until my boss turned me on to one.

Pretty consistent temps across the grill too ..

I thought I was cooking a good steak until I got my egg, now I don't even want to go out and order one. Last filet I had a ruth chris wasn't as good.

Add a pizza stone and a rib rack then you're set. I actually just use a propane torch instead of the electric starter, just stick it down in the coals for about a minute and they will take off. And don't use B&B charcoal it is junk, Royal oak from walmart is what I use, seems to be just as good as BGE charcoal and cheaper.
