Lists work great. I usually write on a notebook so I can mess with it in bed or at lunch at work. For me, planning and doing is as much or more fun than the driving.

I have a 65-66 coupe built in my head and the plan is so squared away, if I had the space and budget, it’d go together in record time. Some day maybe.

I got a whiteboard for my lists. It helps to motivate you when you can start marking them off and they start shrinking.

speaking of color, that's a big sticking point on the Rivera for me, it's such a big car that if I ever do paint it, I have no idea what color to go with.

I painted the walls around my workbench with whiteboard paint(dry erase). Now I just write on the wall directly. I use one side for household projects and one for car projects.
