  • Miata Convertible top

I need to get the convertible top on my mother in-laws Miata replaced, what is a reputable shop around here? I'd prefer it to be in the Allen, Plano and McKinney area but it can be taken further if needed. Thanks

Dee Trim shop. Plano 972-422-7623. Did a good job on mine in 2003.

I've used them for auto & motorcycle seats and was happy with their work.

I swear I had one done for around $500 back when I had mine. It was a smaller shop over by Tx Instruments.

I'd contact OZMDD over on the DFWMiata forum. He installs tops cheap and has done so many of them he is good at it. It's one of those types of jobs. It's an experience thing and getting the rain rail in properly without breaking it so you don't get the inside of the car soaked. The rain rail is plastic BTW. If you are buying a new top get one with a new rain rail.

Oh and I need a T5 and EEC IV ECU and wiring harness for my 5.0 Miata conversion project if anyone has them spare.
