Those hats are awesome...are they just stick on leather patches or sewn in place?

It is a product called leatherette. It is a faux leather with a colored layer beneath. We haven't expanded into real leather just yet.

      They are glued on.

Well, our second event was a bust. We had WAY more inventory and gift type items from flasks to hats, but traffic was non existent! It was a 2-7 event, people were packing up by 4:30. We were leaving the parking lot by 7:04. We barely covered our booth fee. The promoters were advertising it as the holiday market with the most foot traffic in Hunt County. Oh well. I have been able to concert some of the inventory into sales through Facebook, so that has helped!

FB Ad's is where its at. Dont forget # tags too. Also a good idea would be to make a decent portfolio and put out fliers at kids sporting events or even hook up with some of the local associations and see if you can advertise whenever they do the team photos. Always helps to grease the league presidents palm as well...

We have gotten quite a few special orders in the last week, which are great. It helps encorage my wife that we have a good thing going! And, it gives me the chance to be creative, nd really learn what the machine and software can do!

Here is a custom ornament for a board member!

Hit up the Dallas Fraternal Order of Police or Dallas Police Association and ask to advertise with them too. Those would make cool Christmas gifts.

I'll definitely keep that in mind for next year. We are ALMOST at capacity for this Christmas. I'm planning to shut it down from Christmas to Jan 2. Clean the machine, get the garage cleaned, organized, nd set up, etc.

This is our first hand written recipe. I learned a lot with this one. It took some time in inkscape and sure cuts a lot to remove the background and pull just the text. There were a few artifacts left when I ran it, but it turned out great! This was the test run. Next came 6 - 11x14 maple cutting boards with the recipe on them.

And, finally for tonight. I've bee real intrigued by etching pictures. I finally got some time to mess around with some settings and got a decent run out of this picture. Still a ways to go, but it is promising!

You are quite welcome! That turned into 2 separate orders for other departments!

Do you think you can miniaturize this to light maybe a 1.5×1.5" piece of acrylic?

Yeah, that can definitely be done. The base was purchased, but I can make something small enough to light a piece that size. IIRC, the opening in that base is ~3"
