He’s still under and stable. Drs have told his family it’s going to be a long process. They are hoping he gets over the hump per se. he’s tried to wake up a few times, but they sedate him so he doesn’t thrash around with the tubes down his throat.

X-rayed his lungs today and they appear to be looking better. Other than that same ol same ol. Moving in the right direction at least. Just got an update, he is able to breath more on his own and they turned down the vent some so he is improving thankfully.

First shift says he is still the same and hasn’t gone backwards. Next shift change will be 7:30 pm and I’ll post up if anything different happens.

Update: they woke him up for an hour today. He was able to breathe more on his own, but still has the tube for the vent, coherent and able to nod his head to questions. Blood pressure stayed consistent and maintained. Things are looking up for him.

Update. He is awake, off the vent and talked to his brother a little bit ago. He is back and kicked it’s ass!
