what do you have to say about the switch to fuel injection?

Just like all nascar decisions, 1 person will get rich while the teams get screwed. Indycar and nascar decided to use mclaren electronics, last week at sebring, 2 hondas and 2 chevys were blown up in the first session of testing. This is after 1000's of miles with the manuf's ecu without problems.

Luckily, truck and busch dont have to switch yet. I love the idea of the injection, but when the spec ecu costs $9600 without nozzles, tb, or harness, im not a fan.

Speaking of FI I was shocked to learn/hear about how many dollars some of these Grand-Am cars have wrapped up in electronics. These folks were talking about $90-100K in EFI setups alone before all the telemetry do-dads were even added in....
