Default Cooking red potatoes on cedar plank?

Having an issue with half the potatoes cooking and some of them ending up raw tried adjusting the time frames but still some get messed up.

Cut potatoes in half, half again, half , half , half.

Put on cedar plank with a little olive oil after it has been soaking for 2 hours.

drizzle olive oil on potatoes and season.

Put on grill @ 350 for 7 minutes.
Put salmon in for 13 minutes.

Pull both.

What am I missing or doing wrong?

If the pieces are identical in size, then you've discovered where your have temperature differences. Move them around between the hotter and cooler zones during the cooking process.

dropping the hood, borrowing a green egg from a friend before buying my own while he is out of town. Thought the point of this thing was that it would be the same temp everywhere?
