      We had issues for a couple matches last night with lag but it didn't last long.

                  Also, if you're on wifi, check the distance from the Xbox to the router. Think of them as a microphone and speaker...if they're too close, you will get feedback. I was having issues, and switched back to hardwired, which is the best way to go. But if you stay wi-fi, you'll want at least 5-6 feet distance between the console and router.

                  That's how it was explained to me through Microsoft customer support. Everything got better when I put more distance in there, then perfect performance when I went back to hardwired.
