Who is the builder to go to for a small block ford long block these days? Just looking for something with decent power and torque. Nothing crazy going to get driven quite a bit. Going in a old 51 F1 truck.
Not a black vette.......a silver one

Some folks here have used Kim Barr. Some older feedback here: (not real flattering)
If you had a mod motor rebuilt there even if it was with all the good stuff....Do you trust it??If not where do you take it?

Call Rick at Metroplex Machine in Balch Springs. 972-222-2421. Fast and done right.

Kim built the motor in my old altered and it ran flawlessly for years. Can't tell you how many passes were on that motor. The only time I messed up the motor is when my dumb ass raised the boost and popped a piston because I didn't get the fuel right. Kim fixed it and it ran great again for years. Never had an issue with the motor. I also know people that have had the opposite experience. It seems that is the story with every place though. You can't make everybody happy.
