  • 5.1 PC Speakers only 2.1

Pretty much what the title says. basic specs for the sound of my computer.

Asus Xonar DGX sound card (set to 5.1)
    Logitech Z-5300 5.1 speakers (set to 5.1)
Speakers are hooked up with standard 3.5 green, orange, black connections.
Windows 10 with audio settings to 5.1

When testing the speakers in the sound card software each speaker works. They also work when testing the setup in windows. (i.e. click the speaker icon you want to test and it dings)

When using anything else it only is 2.1. Center and surround speakers remain silent. Doing a 5.1 test from online left, right and sub works but center goes through left and right speakers and the surround is silent.

    Any ideas?
