Trashing the warranty just to gain 10hp in my daily driver = not a great idea.

Have you tuned one of these yet Sam?

Already have the MT82 whine and it doesn't bother me a bit. T56 is locked and loaded for when this POS dies. And why would I cry? I chose to do the mods. Like I said, you can either afford to play or you can't. No biggie.

Besides, if it does break, I always have this to drive while we're fixing it -

You've said that twice now, are you insinuating I don't want to void my warranty because I'm broke? lol

I'm okay with being slow! I'm not a whole lot slower than you.

Nothing like that at all, I just wonder why some people worry about the warranty and some don't. I bought mine to have fun with, and daily drive, and not worry about the warranty. If it breaks, and Ford doesn't cover it, it will come out of my pocket. She's going to True Street for the next round of mods, I'm shooting for low to mid 11's on motor. And hoping it doesn't break!

Afr gauges are notoriously unaccurate. There was a good article written by Bosch engineers that explained... I'll have to dig it up.

Reading Plugs and listening by ear are the only way to go.

If its the stock factory tune, don't even think about sweating it.

I guess Ford's stock tune is all sorts of wrong then...

Why not use the wideband that's built into the car from the factory?

And there is a reason he's not tuning it, from the other thread he had about #8 giving up all while BONE STOCK. Really isnt a bad idea, just look, he got a free engine out of it, and had he had it tuned they would have blamed the tune. 390 is plenty to play with to not need 15-20 more hp to keep the warranty for a bit longer. Were doing the same thing with my wife's '13 GT.
