          I said it in the other thread. Keep it really simple!

          color - Competition Orange, Triple Yellow, Race Red, or Deep Impact Blue
          lowered - use a good brand of coilovers
          wheels - 20x9 and 20x10 Vossen CVT wheels
          exhaust - Borla S-type mufflers or similar

          That's really all it needs. All of those changes will make an enthusiast want it, but not be illegal. Use a bright color so it draws people in, has enough tasteful changes so that someone will want it over a stock car on the lot, and keep it in a price range where someone will actually buy it.

          When the government pays, the government controls.

            I agree with everything but the color.
            I say Oxford White with dark saddle interior or Guard Silver with ceramic interior unless you do the Recaros.... and black out the lower back end

              Man, I'm telling you, the bright colors draw people in. Colors like Guard and Oxford White will be more classy, but they're so boring that people will walk right past them without even noticing the car was modified.

                But conversely, if the car is modified exactly like you want it, and the color is too 'wild' you won't buy it. The white and silver are not only more classy but they are colors that people can 'live with' even if they weren't the color they were initially looking for.

                It takes a special person to drive an orange car... I know, I had one

                      That's the thread in the back porch.

                      For this, keep it simple as stated... use as many ford racing parts as possible so as to keep the warranty in check. Lower it, better shocks/struts and DO NOT reuse the stock ones... either go with Bilstien or Koni. For the wheels, give it 20's and try to do at least a 285 on the rear on a 10" rim. You have to do Recaros on it, and it must be a M6 trans and not an auto no matter how good the auto is. FRPP mufflers, and a Roush TVS supercharger. Done.

                        Ah, clearly I don't get on here as much as I used to. I just saw Don's post and I thought it was the same thread.

                        My bad.

                          Your bad indeed.

                          My suggestions should have ended this thread!

                              Mustang people != Audi people
