  • 2015 Mustang EcoBoost MagnaFlow Street Series Cat-Back Install Video

    MagnaFlow 19097 Mustang Cat-Back Exhaust 2-1/2" EcoBoost 2015

Today we are showing you how to install MagnaFlow's stainless steel 2-1/2" Street Series cat-back exhaust kit on our 2015 Mustang EcoBoost project car. There has been a lot of debate on the internet about the sound of the new Ecoboost, and a lot of enthusiasts are coming to terms that it is never going to sound like the GT, but that doesn't mean it can't sound a whole lot better than the factory. MagnaFlow has been known for giving Mustangs a nice deep tone, and that is exactly what they did for the EcoBoost.

This system provides everything needed for installation and can be installed in less than an hour. The MagnaFlow kit will mount in all of the factory exhaust mounting locations, it requires no cutting or no welding, though we do recommend getting some help removing the factory system.

The 4-1/2" polished stainless steel tips fill up the exhaust cutouts much better than the small stock muffler tips giving your EcoBoost a great look to match the great sound. The Street Series Mufflers included with this kit provide a louder than stock sound without turning heads everywhere you drive like the Competition Series may.

Once installed, the MagnaFlow Street Series Cat-Back provides the deepest tone we have heard on the EcoBoost yet. It gives you a nice low rumble without the raspy sound a lot of other systems have.
