I agree that it's probably not worth it, for him to come back. But again, it's all speculation at this point. Jerry says he'd like to see him back if he is 100%, and it gives them the best chance to win, and everyone jumps on him like a pack of rabid dogs. I guess all the haters just wore me down on the old board. You know, the ones that make offhanded comments about raping the Cowboys, then don't have the testicular fortitude to show their face when their team gets beat. So much so, they disappear in to thin air til the next season. Because he is the owner of the Cowboys, the guy can't make a comment without being criticized by the entire world. He can't get drunk, he can't chase a young hot piece of ass, etc. It's just annoying, that because it's Jerry Jones, every moron with a mouth an a keyboard comes out of the woodwork.

I see all sides, and the positives and negatives of each possible scenario, and to be honest, I don't know what I would do in his shoes. Each one has good, and bad.

I say Kitna won't be back, becaus his contract is up, and he is 39. If there is no football next season, 1- Jerry isn't going to want to pay to keep 3 QBs in a non play season, and 2- kitna would be 41 the following season, and who wants a 41 yr old QB? Granted, he's not exactly Brad Johnson, but still. And there is always the possibility, that Jerry could have competition for someone trying to sign I'm as a backup after seeing what he has done this season.

And you want to give him a chance to prove himself, before making a decision to re sign Kitna for next season. Kitna playing at the level he is, could be the best thing to ever happen to Romo. Having to fight for that starting position, etc. You yourself said having two good QBs pushes for a higher level of play from both.

I can understand wanting to knock the dust off. I can understand wanting to see Romo in action before making a decision on Kitna. I can see wanting to make the two compete.

But I just don't think it's worth the risk to bring him back. I think right now, Kitna has built a rapport, and that gives them the best chance to win over a QB that hasn't played in 6 weeks. I still think McGee should be getting snaps, because in all likelihood, Kitna is out at the end of the season. Especially if there is no 2011 season.

It's all speculation, and depends on the healing process. He even flat out said even if he is healthy, the situation will be judged at the time on what gives them the best chance to win games. But I guess you skipped over that part.

I swear, Jerry could say the sky is blue and you haters would find a reason to say he is wrong, he is stupid, etc. You're so blinded by hate, it removes common sense an logic from your heads. Jesus tap dancing Christ.

Look man, I was just having some fun with it. I'm sorry that you're taking it so harsh. I just don't see the point in getting your franchise QB busted up or have a career ending injury due to coming back on the back of a season that doesn't mean shit as far as getting to the post season. Sure, playing time is playing time, but if that were the case then why did every playoff contention team up until this year sit many of their starters the last couple of games, or pull them after half time because they had a fair lead over the competition? It's because they didn't want to risk injury in games that really didn't matter because they were already in the playoffs(which is why the NFL made the last games of the season divisional games). This is nearly identical for the Cowboys this year except for the fact that they have no chance at making the playoffs this year. I guess only die hard fans of a team know what's best or the most logical for any given scenario. You sat there and said you don't think it's worth the risk to put him back in there, but then turn around and say the haters are blinded by hate and it removes our common sense and logic. Wtf? I don't consider myself a hater, although I do criticize them(mostly Jerry Jones), A LOT, as they are suppose to be the big badass in the NFC East. The fact remains, we are in agreement with the fact that he may get busted up or have his career come to an end by playing the last game or 2 of the season so there is no sense in playing him as there is nothing left to play for other than pride.

We already know Romo can play, so I don't know what we need to see this season from him that would prove he is or isn't a good QB, the collar bone injury shouldn't affect him in the least as far as the way he plays. He wouldn't have a got a huge contract if he was a pile of shit. I doubt they will let Kitna go since he has proven his worth here and will help push Romo to be a better QB at the same time.

i would rather have him not play the rest of the season and have the possibility of him getting reinjured and it affect trainning camp and offseason workouts.

im all for steven Mcghee to get a start sometime before the year is out. Not to take anything away from Kitna cause he has done a great job filling in for Romo. BUt I would like to see what Mcghee can do? See if this a guy that has a future or not

Yeah no sense in getting Romo back in the line up. It doesn't look like the Cardinals are going to make it and we don't need some second or third teamer fucking up next year for us...'H'

I see no use in using Romo unless Jerry Jones just wants fans to show up to the games...

if Dez were here, i would have said maybe.. right now i dont want him playing.

Im not with this move, there is nothing that the Cowboys can accomplish for the rest of the season. I wouldnt want to have the chance of Romo being injured again and have it be worse than it was the first time and jepordize next season.
I think Jason Garret doesn't get the coaching job next season if he makes a decision like that. No coach in their right mind would pull Kitna after the way he has been playing lately and Romo just now coming back from a injury and this late in the season with no playoff chances. That all just sounds retarded in my opinion.
