We bid on jerseys quite a bit. We were going after the Ott one from St. Patty's Day, but when it hit a 1000 dollars we were like "f that." haha

The at game bidding can do alright, but I rather just pay a flat price for things there. The tax deductions are nice too.

I was very impressed this year and the race was too close. I go back and read post #1 and I get disappointed. They were crazy good out of the gate, but floundered in the end.

Ah well, I'm a hockey fan first and a Stars fan second. Wheather or not the Stars are there, the playoffs will be unbelievable this year and I won't miss a game.

It really was and I make myself feel better by believing it was more than to be expected this year.

I try not to get into sports too heavily and I was up early - so I did not watch the game - but it decreased the joy in my day seeing the morning alerts for last night's game.

That game left more to be desired last night. They were down 3-2 in the 3rd period and couldn't get any pressure going on offense. After they killed off the double minor, I was hopeful, but that was short lived after SJ got their 4th goal. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Terrible call, and the Stars aren't showing the hunger that the Sharks are. They killed a double minor and are showing some life, but it doesn't seem like they want it bad enough.
