Trey Metoyer might not have the grades to enroll at OU

and we have 2 other big recruits who havent been cleared

RL effects us now, the other 3 effect our future, they were 3 big time recruits.

Since it's in my neck of the woods, i've been hearing about Trey's problems for awhile now. Feel kind of bad for the kid, but it is his own fault.

Barking Carnival as a scrimmage report from Saturday. According to that, Gilbert looked the same as last year. Fuck it, just start the freshman Ash if this is the case.

i've read Nelson is playing great also.. they were hyping him up last year but our depth at LB was too much, though he still played.

Its just the leadership and poise that will be missed in the big games when T.Lewis is out.

I know I'm going to catch flack (sp?) for this, but Stoops has said since spring ball, Corey Nelson was the best defender on the field.........that's who's filling in for T. Lewis while he recover's.........he's no Travis Lewis and it could be lip service, but it was said well before the injury. He won't have the same leadership, which will also be missed with Box, but apparently the kid is going to be pretty good. As good as T. Lewis? I'm thinking not.........with Aaron Colvin moving to CB and Javon Harris getting more playing time at safety.......this OU defense is going to be very young........

Keep an out for David King at the DE........apparently he's doing pretty well in camp as well.......

Grades from what i've been reading. This dude has NFL Potential written all over him. No official word yet.
People on the board said he's good to go, but until i hear something from Stoops, i dont belive it.

And apparently Christian Scott is kicked off the team after being charged with assault. Guess he was behind on his payments and got a little rough with the lady repo man.

he should have hung out with Rhett Bomar.. payments would be no problem.. hahaha

Oklahoma defensive captain and leading tackler Travis Lewis will miss up to eight weeks with a broken bone in his left foot, leaving the Sooners without one of their best defensive player for a few crucial early season games.

Athletic trainer Scott Anderson said Tuesday that Lewis' injury will not require surgery, and will be treated with rest and immobilization. Lewis, chosen as the Big 12's preseason defensive player of the year by the media, was injured Monday during Oklahoma's first practice in pads of training camp

The only thing i'm going to miss about Williams being gone is seeing how he would've done in Harsin's offense as an Hback/Flext TE. I think he would've done well in that spot. I feel sorry for the young man.
