Bcoop sure does have a complex lol. Loves to talk shit, but can't have any thrown his way. Jus so you know Mr. know it all that fire wasn't hot at all. I used half a basket of charcoal to get my fire started and that was it. Smoker never got above 250.
In the top picture there are four, and a piece of another at minimum.

Complex? Not so much. I just think its comical that you have the misguided impression that an expensive smoker somehow makes you know what the fuck you are doing. And I'm an admitted arrogant bastard, and know for a fact I'd smoke your ass in a competition.

I try to get firewood for following year. Last year was hard being my 1st year at house. Lot of wood was still green. This year though, I have plenty for this winter ready to go. I already have a good stack going for next year. Friend of mine cuts trees down on the side and I go pick up the wood. Inlaw lives by the lake and he has tons of trees out there that I go pick up. I plan on getting me a log splitter.

What's in the back of your truck is what you will be using next year. Now you need to go find something for this year.
I'm just now starting to get into wood I cut up 2 years ago.

Same goes for what you plan to cut down. Needs to sit (cut and split) for AT MINIMUM one season, but really, needs to sit for a year.
