What's controversial about it? I like slavery in certain context. Well, you couldn't really call it slavery, I just use that as a slang term. But it would be forced unpaid labor. Such as turning all prisons into whats basically a work camp for the inmates to work hard. Producing something of value to be sold to pay for their stay. I have no problem doing it to those in the welfare line as well. As long as they are mooching, they should be forced to produce something that justifies their pay. They can feel free to get a job anywhere they can find it, which would result in their being ejected from the program. Prisoners of course would be ejected upon completion of their sentence.
