And why is it that you say that if I don't want to work at a union job, I don't have to take the job, but union members who want employment at non union shops aren't expected to be happy with a non union job

The cancer is spreading. Unions RUIN companies. My family knows more about unions than most anyone, with the shit we had to deal with. Fucking psychos. Hear about the HVAC small business owner up north? The union tried to MURDER him in his front yard.

You're saying that if you don't like union jobs don't work there. I'm saying you don't like working without a union, don't work there. But you don't seem to like that equality and want force used to make companies pay more than the market can support and the labor is worth.
I retired at 24, make a decent living and support my family and can do so for the rest of my life. My dependents also get free college and my health insurance for my entire family is 24 dollars a quarter.
And of course non union members get toasted during work. They don't ask for a taxpayer bailout though now do they?

Would you like the video of UAW workers, AFTER the bailout, sitting in the parking lot getting drunk and smoking pot on their lunch breaks?

My hangups on unions are this: They dump money into democrat coffers without consulting their membership. They are leeches that produce absolutely nothing while holding companies hostage, are unwilling to negotiate when times are bad, but when times are good, they want a bigger share.
You know what? I have great insurance for my family and was retired at 24. Want to talk about benefits?
Have you ever been on the committee when they are voting in a new contract?? trust me the companies are trying there hardest to screw over the working hands also.
You retired at 24?? Dam must be nice, can you make a living and support your family for the rest of your life or did you have to get another job??

In doing so we had to cut out a bunch of pipe and welds and guess what we found all kinds of crap left in the system (levels, tape measure, and a 24" pipe wrench) is that ok for them to do that?? All I'm saying is you get what you pay for....

Do you support making union membership voluntary in union held areas? Do you support making union dues billable instead of automatically deducted?
Those questions right there will answer a lot of questions about you
I believe that if you are going into a job knowing that it is union, why would you contest it. If you don't like the way they work go do something else.In my situation I believe that union dues are billable because alot of guys travel all over the U.S. and we have to pay traveling dues at our hall and at the place we go to work, so in that case its hard to make it automatic.

It just bothers me when people that don't really know about the union bash them.
