And yet Sharia law is actually a political system that has it's own tax law, doctrine on war on unbelievers and so forth. Sharia is as much a political system as socialism or communism owing little to the majority of the text (which is insane in it's own right) allowing any imam the authority to overwrite any portion of the Koran to make it say anything they like just like Mohammed (may pigs fuck him forever) did when he bastardized the religion.

Exlude, when did you spend time in a Muslim country to learn the intricacies of their laws?

Hahaha, wow. I didn't know you were a contortionist. Thats an impressive knot you tie yourself in to.

How ignorant to ignore a connection between religion and morality. As if one doesn't influence, if not dictate, the other. And I'll just point out that it is you that may need to get smart on sharia law. I realize that you didn't have much KLE or mentoring going on, but many consider sharia their moral code, sharia calls itself the moral code of Islam and sharia actually means law or legislature.

Suffice it to say, my point stands.

I own no morals. If you've ever read what Sharia Law is, then you wouldn't use that as an example since it is religiously based, rather than morally based. That is a religious system incorporated into governmental legislature. That would be like saying we should use Levitical Doctrine as our laws.

Have you ever noticed how the Ten Commandments were written out? The first four strictly relate to your relationship with God. The last six relate to fellow man. There is a reason it is in that order.

I'm not surprised at all by the "people" taking issue with Tx Redneck posting this thread. Honestly, though, I don't see how this is even a debate. I'm sick and fucking tired of our society's moral decay and the "laws" we create to justify all these immoral acts (like that makes things better).

Morality is an illusion. People are as good as they want to be.
