It is present in bodily fluids such as saliva. If I had the information that someone was HIV+ I would choose NOT to have my children around them. A person cannot get mononucleosis from being in the same room as someone that has it, but I wouldn't want my children in that same room either.

Shit happens, and even if there is a slightest chance that an HIV+ kid could bleed/spit on my child due to the thousands of unlikely scenarios/accidents that could happen, I rather not have my child in that environment. Anyone who is indifferent to the chances, however small, are idiots.
