It's kind of sad, actually, that you have put up an impenetrable wall to the message of Christ. We've all seen how churches can be used to manipulate people for their own selfish and malicious reasons. But Christ didn't do that. And you are fucking WRONG about how Westboro Baptists and Fred Phelps have "quite rigidly stuck to the tenets set forth in the bible."

"Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them. And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more."

He helped polarize the nation on the issue and helped it become a civil rights issue. Once that happened, there was no turning back. Fred Phelps, through his hate has brilliantly failed.
    I agree.

Wait, wait, what? His daughters fucked him? Pics of daughters?

They will bury him on their own property far removed from people being able to protest him or have gay sex on his grave for years to come. Too bad. He deserves the same treatment that he and his followers have treated others.

I could care less about this guy, I'd like to see his funeral get protested in hope that his caring family members feel one tiny shred of the sadness and anger felt by those families he picketed.

Wouldn't it be funny if people showed up at his funeral after he dies and does some of the same shit that westboro did at funerals? Turnabout is fair play!

Their should be a gay pride parade scheduled to pass the funeral home and at the cemetery.

Sounds like you missed as much of the message as Fred did.

I haven't read the bible but seems like he missed "loving thy neighbor" and "do unto others".

I think he'll be inducted into the Player Haters Hall of Fame.
