They send this information out, I mean it’s just beamed out all over the fuckin place. You just gotta know how to grab it. See I know how to grab it.

Hell, I scan for people that have open bluetooth and just catalog the people that walk by. There isn't anything innately mischievous about talking to a device and asking if it will talk back to you. I don't port scans all the time, saying hello is not illegal.
If you put an antenna out on your property and pick up signals that are being broadcast on your land, whats the issue?
