After ISIS execution, angry King Abdullah quotes Clint Eastwood to U.S. lawmakers

Members of the House Armed Services Committee met with Jordan's King Abdullah Tuesday not long after news broke that ISIS had burned to death a Jordanian pilot captured in the fight against the terrorist group. In a private session with lawmakers, the king showed an extraordinary measure of anger — anger which he expressed by citing American movie icon Clint Eastwood.

"He said there is going to be retribution like ISIS hasn't seen," said Republican Rep. Duncan Hunter Jr., a Marine Corps veteran of two tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, who was in the meeting with the king. "He mentioned 'Unforgiven' and he mentioned Clint Eastwood, and he actually quoted a part of the movie."

Hunter would not say which part of "Unforgiven" the king quoted, but noted it was where Eastwood's character describes how he is going to deliver his retribution. There is a scene in the picture in which Eastwood's character, William Munny, says, "Any man I see out there, I'm gonna kill him. Any son of a bitch takes a shot at me, I'm not only going to kill him, I'm going to kill his wife and all his friends and burn his damn house down."

"He's angry," Hunter said of King Abdullah. "They're starting more sorties tomorrow than they've ever had. They're starting tomorrow. And he said, 'The only problem we're going to have is running out of fuel and bullets.'"

"He's ready to get it on," Hunter added. "He really is. It reminded me of how we were after 9/11. We were ready to give it to them."

Hunter said there was no mention of President Obama during the bipartisan meeting, either by King Abdullah or by any of the lawmakers in the room.

All I can say is just wow! Knowing this and if I were a soldier stationed in that AO, I would do everything possible not to be captured alive.

The only good part of that, if anything is, is that he didn't feel the burning after probably the first minute or so. Seeing someone burn to death never gets easier.

I'll disagree. Beheading messed with me more. Burning seemed like something out of a movie, hard to convince myself it is real. Awful way to die though. Took longer than I thought for him to collapse, and he probably wasnt dead yet.

Nothing will come of this because we have a limp dick president who, deep down, wants to see them succeed.

It wasn't until my teenage years where I began to know more about my Dad when he was younger and understand his mentality and what made him who he is today that I understood what must be done and why he didn't want me to do it. Dad's always want better for their kids, as a father I totally understand that and want better for my boys.... that said, if there's a bully fucking with them the first lesson from me is this.

"do not drop to their level, it will fix nothing, you will be in an endless shit storm with them until the most committed wins. Once you decide to take the fight to them it's important that you hit HARD, hit FIRST, and do not let up until they cannot get up... Never stoop to their level, start off 2 steps lower than you think they will go to. At that point their will is broken, they will be afraid of you. This is a last resort, this is only to be done when all else has failed, and it's not to be taken lightly as there are consequences but sometimes it's the only thing they will understand."
That sounds similar to my experience. Moving around a lot meant catching hell from the bullies at each new school. By the time I hit 5th grade, I learned to come unglued on the first bully, no matter how big they were. That sent a message to the others to leave me the fuck alone and it worked.

I am not even sure who is the last President I would consider a real leader. A lot of people would say W, or Reagan because they did do what they said they would do, at least when it comes to our enemies. Before that? JFK probably. That is a fucking hard question, and that is sad.

Nothing good came from it. I just thought of his parents, wife and children watching it. All he was doing was trying to make the world a better place.

I told my son that if he goes, every last one of them need to be terminated. Every last one of them.

Sweet Jesus, please let Jordan follow through, and then everyone else can follow suit, and then we drop the kid gloves and finish off with heads on spikes, or . In pirate times, ports would put a tarred & feathered pirate in an iron body cage, hanging in the port, to warn incoming pirates how they dealt with their ilk.

You know how they lure deadbeat dads and do warrant round ups by sending out notices that they've won the lottery, then when they show up they arrest them?

I submit a desert party, hosted by a group of A-10's
I read the jordanian threats' days ago. I really hope they follow through and execute their ISIS prisoners. I think they're scheduled to hang a woman tomorrow.

Sometimes people need to see the depravity of human vermin with their own eyes. That is why the concentration camps of Nazi Germany are open to the public and still exist.

I don't need to post a bunch of inflammatory text. By seeing the video, you gain your own personal understanding of what ISIS is about.

    Genocide.

There are times where people must stand up and collectively say "No More".

This is such a time - Both for those of the Islamic faith and of humanity as a whole.
I see where you're coming from, and I'm aware of all that. I think when I was cobramans age I was curious too. I thought I needed to see it to better understand what they (terrorists) were capable of. But after seeing some pretty horrible shit first hand, I just dont need to watch some guy get burned alive.
