I remember bringing this up about 5-7 years ago and everyone was adamant that it was not going to happen. However, the bigger the growth, influx of Democrats and so on - it seemed like there would be a challenge in the next 10 years or so.

TX is definitely turning blue. Even born texans are going blue because the education they are getting is super liberal.

The last elections exit polls showed that native Texans voted +3% positive for Beto, while people who moved to Texas from a blue States voted +15% for Ted Cruz. This is why I made the comment that blue states are simply getting Bluer.

The 2018 race between Beto and Cruz was somewhat unique. It was the single most expensive run for Senate in history by a Sevenfold margin against a sitting Senator that didn't really campaign until the last 3 weeks.

While they are generally less wealthy than white people, they are decent hard working family folks and they aspire to earn their keep and improve their lot in life. That is a Republican platform.
