So what if he was being bullied by white kids? We can still make this a racial issue and now the shooter is the victim. Fuck yeah, I love America and it's media.

As predicted by all, this story has pretty much vanished from national news.

Edit: Out on a $75,000 Bond. I had a higher bond than that when I was 17 in 1988. Why the leniency for this guy?

Of course it has. It's a way of life that no one is willing to talk about in the MSM.

This shooting got national attention - it could easily be used to highlight the problems but it will be dropped immediately.

Also clearly not a school shooting but a shooting that took place at a school.
Exactly, I think they need to distinguish between this kind of shooting and someone with the explicit goal to kill as many innocent people as they can. Just like when they refer to a gang related shooting as a mass shooting, not the same.

Based on the interview of his mother on the news she has probably already setup a go-fund-me page to pay the legal fees for her precious innocent baby who goes to Sunday school every week. Maybe he can sell his gold teeth to pay his attorney fees. She believes there is "more to the story". I'm sure that he or she can find a way to justify him "borrowing" a .45acp handgun and carrying it to a school and then shooting 4 people who were oppressing him..including a teacher.

Report of active shooter, multiple people hurt in Texas high school
Texas police are responding to a high school shooting in Arlington that injured four people, including three students, Wednesday morning, and are now searching for the suspect who they say is on the loose.

Arlington Police confirmed it was on the scene of a shooting at Timberview High School, and its officers were carrying out a "methodical search" and working closely with ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the Mansfield Independent School District, which has its own police department, the Mansfield Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department and other agencies.

The suspect has been identified as 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins, who is Black. Police say he likely fled the scene in a 2018 Silver Dodge Charger with license plate PFY-6260. Authorities say the shooting happened as a result of a fight and a total of four people were hurt. Investigators "believe" two of the injured were gunshot victims. Three victims were students, and one was older, possibly a teacher.

Fox 4 Dallas reported that multiple people had been shot.

The school district is setting up a parent reunification point at the Center for Performing Arts located at 1110 W. Debbie. Arlington police tweeted that officers will be at that scene, and students will eventually be bused to that location after the school is completely secured.

A spokeswoman with the Mansfield Independent School District confirmed to Fox News Digital by phone that there was a "police situation" at Timberview High School. She said "the school is on lockdown, students and staff are in their classrooms and offices are locked down, and no visitors are being admitted at this time," but declined to provide any additional updates.

DFW Scanner, a digital news site serving North Texas, reported that multiple law enforcement agencies responded to the school around 9:30 a.m. local time, as radio calls came through about a potential shooter. The website also said a suspect might have since fled the school in a Dodge Charger.

According to the website, a Dallas Police Department’s Air-1 helicopter was overhead, as officers were inside searching the building.
A suspect who fled after opening fire inside a Fort Worth-area high school, which sent students and staff running for their lives, was taken into custody Wednesday after an hours-long manhunt, authorities said.

Arlington police say cell phone video obtained from a student shows that a fight broke out inside a classroom at Timberview High School around 9:15 a.m. Wednesday before 18-year-old Timothy George Simpkins drew a weapon. He fled the scene and was believed to be driving a 2018 Silver Dodge Charger.

Authorities said Simpkins was caught following a manhunt and is expected to be charged with three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. He was being questioned by detectives Wednesday afternoon, officials said. He is expected to appear before a judge Thursday. He is being held on a $75,000 bond, according to Arlington police jail records.

Law enforcement says multiple people were hurt and some were transported to area hospitals. Three people were taken to hospitals – two with gunshots wounds who were undergoing surgery, Fox affiliate KDFW-TV reported. The victims include a 15-year-old boy in critical condition, a 25-year-old man in good condition and a teenage girl in good condition.

A pregnant teacher was injured in a fall and was treated at the scene, the news outlet reported.

Arlington Mayor Jim Ross told Fox News by phone that two people were still in surgery, while the third was treated and has since been released. Authorities were processing students from the school, as parents waited about four miles away at a performing arts center. Students will eventually be bused there to reunite with family.

Under Texas law, it is illegal for the shooter to have or purchase the gun used in the shooting at Timberview High School, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said at an unrelated press conference Wednesday. Ross added that the suspect was illegally in possession of a firearm on school premises. The mayor said he was "confident law enforcement will be finding him and apprehending him."

A new Texas open carry law, which went into effect on Sept. 1, applies only to those aged 21 and older.

"As law enforcement continues their investigation, our hearts go out to the victims of this senseless act of violence," Abbott said in a statement.

Arlington Police initially confirmed it was on the scene of a shooting at the high school and its officers were carrying out a "methodical search" and working closely with ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), the Mansfield Independent School District, which has its own police department, the Mansfield Police Department, Grand Prairie Police Department and other agencies.

A spokeswoman with the Mansfield Independent School District earlier Wednesday morning confirmed to Fox News Digital by phone that there was a "police situation" at Timberview High School. She said "the school is on lockdown, students and staff are in their classrooms and offices are locked down, and no visitors are being admitted at this time," but declined to provide any additional updates at that time.

By Wednesday afternoon, the school district released a statement saying the "all clear" had been given at the school. Students were being escorted onto buses and parents or guardians of students at Timberview and Early College high schools were being asked to pick up their student at the Mansfield ISD Center for the Performing Arts.

All after-school activities were canceled Wednesday.

Counseling services will be made available to students and parents at the reunification location, the school district said.
    Hmmm

That's my old High School, kind of. That one didn't exist as we only had one with a 2nd one finished my Sr. year. Now I believe Mansfield has like 5 High Schools? I loved South Arlington growing up it was such a nice community, but man has it gone downhill in the past 20 years. Sad.
