Ouch. Would try and get that changed to Owens Corning, GAF, or Certainteed.

Certainteed has the most "POP" in terms of color variation, and generally makes a gorgeous roof. Act really pissed off that he was going to put that crap on your house and get him to throw in Z-Ridge to make up for it...

    Apparently they are crap.

I Would Be Interested In Hearing From Anyone Who Has Knowledge Of Problems (leaking, De-lamination, Etc, )with The Atlas "pinnacle" 35 Yr Laminated Shingles ( Also Georgia Pacific (" Summitt" ) Shingle.

Stuff like that I totally support. My outlook is if you have insurance, you should not be able to access any grants or the like.
I have mixed emotions on that. If you do the right thing, you pay your taxes, have insurance on your house, you cant get help? 1% deductible can be money people just dont have. Now others who dont want to have insurance and dont pay for it can ride the backs of others. This reminds me of healthcare

I'm screwed then! Only been around since 2003...

    Thanks guys for the likes!

It's not finished yet, mainly because I suck at the internet, but I could still use the clicks...

So watch out for those guys. I was able to put a roof on his house but I didn't make shit off of it but it was my pops so it didn't matter.

Lol, I had a couple call me to put a bid on the top out and fixture set of a new house when the 'plumber' that roughed it in never came back. It turned out that the 'plumber' only stuck copper and PVC risers in the dirt, he didn't actually install anything below the dirt pad, and since this was in a rural area, there was no test or inspection. I had to saw-cut the foundation all to shit on a new two-story home.
