My lawn sucks. I got huge bald spots in the front yard right underneath the trees. I think that somehow they're caused by the trees. That and I never water it lol

And its mostly weeds too. Its ugly. Someday I'll do something about that... like install a sprinkler system.

Well I got in a pretty bad accident and have been out for about 2 1/2 months my neighbors have been cutting my grass but went from a 1 to a 4 setting. Now that i am back to good health i spent about 6 hours going from the 4 back down to the 1. I need to go get some fertilizer and will be watering it for the next couple of days to help it green up (hopefully).

My neighbors think im crazy because it was dark green on top but the length was driving me insane!

My buddy has a really nice st Augustine yard but dallisgrass is present. Is there any way to rid this without using a non selective herbicide? Or dig.. he wants a chemical if there is one

I put down Lesco 25-0-11, not sure if bermuda vs st. augustine makes a difference though.

I think it's coming in pretty good, think it's ok to throw Scotts green max down? I installed the sod on 5/4 and put down some cheap starter fertilizer on 5/6.. but it's seen a shit ton of water and rain over the last 30 days..

I'm noticing that. There are a few places where I still have some dirt packed in there, but it gets easier every week.

It still walks into the yard on me from time to time. Either way, I still have the best looking yard on the street by far!

There is nothing better than a fresh edge!

I know you have st Augustine, but I've also had great luck mowing high with Bermuda.. much darker green

how are those areas looking now? The rest of the yard looks healthy enough to not be concerned about those areas. If some runners stress and die, I wouldn't worry with it too much with the way that those look. The green stuff will run in and fill those areas in.
It's starting to fill in now.. I'm close to needing to mow.. the only area we're having an issue is where we walk. I'm going to add some stepping stones there to keep the traffic off
