    Ty sir, it's been a learning process because I'm used to turf that you mow tall and did that to begin with. It made a mess of the grass because it's max length it 2", any more and it begins to lay over, hence the name Bentgrass.

    Vancouver WA and thanks, but I just take care of the odds and ends, yard work, etc. This is my in-laws place, we moved up here so the grandkids could get time w/their grandfather that has severe Crohn's. This is waaaaaay to much house for me/my wife.

    If that was towards me, I use pest shop in Plano.. they carry prodiamine in power and granular

    I like prodiamine but you can’t get it at Home Depot..

    Scott’s crabgrass preventer is decent and available just about everywhere.. if you wanna go a little cheaper you can buy this..

    This is 2 or 3 weeks after application. The brown spots are a grass type that's not tolerant of full sun and will come back soon since we're getting to the cooler and wetter time of year here.
