I 100% agree. Though I take full resonsibilty for my actions, giving an 18 year old with no previous history access to 30k in credit is pure evil.

Whaaaa?? I didn't know you can do that? I have my debit card added for a few and even my direct routing number but I didn't know you can use a 'credit' card? I am going to have to look into that.. That is a gold mind for AA points!

You've been missing out, everything but my house and car payment are autopay on my credit card then paid off at the end of the month. I flew to DC in December for free on the points, mine is a chase card and I can buy merchandise, hotels, plane tickets, etc or just get cash back. I usually do plane tickets or wait until they put a gift card to a store I frequent on a special offer so I get more for my money.

Congrats TDD for having a great time and it being paid for ahead of time. I can not get my wife to swim with the Dolphins. She got in the water with Stingrays in Grand Cayman for about 10 minutes and hated each minutes of it but she does not mind snorkling above nurse sharks and the such. She will slide of the edge of a cliff and repel 100' but won't swim with Dolphins; go figure.

My cruise and Barcelona trip won't be paid for until the first of the month but the cash is in the account. We only put the ship bill and the BCN hotel on the card. The front part of the trip was all cash. We get a lot of cash back each year on our Discover card also and never hold a balance over 30 days.



Denny I have killed all our debt but the house and whereas I could say a lot of it never would have amassed had I not had this job it also helped me pay it all off and then some.

sitting in London Heathrow about to board for Dubai. Hopefully the company will pick up the hotel tab there for the night or two I am in. I am getting tired of hemeraging (sp?) cash right now.

Sadly, we're in the minority on that, bro. Debt is pretty ugly and overwhelming for many, but all brought on themselves (for the most part).
