I'm liking these cars more & more lately. I got to drive a friend's new Boss 302 a few weeks ago and also took a 12' California Special for a test drive recently...I could see one of these being a cool daily.

If in fact your Stang is painted in the Gran Sport color of 1996, it was actually called Admiral Blue Metallic (28U) By Cheverolet, but the actual color was called Cloisonne Pearl by PPG, it used alot of violet tint which gave it a purple hue in most lights, so I guess Jeremy is right your car is purple, lol!

It has a very faint purple tint. 1 out of maybe 10 people ever notice it. I can't recall anybody ever saying "hey those 96 purple gran sport vettes are awesome". This argument is pointless but yes it's blue with a hint of purple. So no , Jeremy is not right.

Nice car and I love the glass roof option. Is it open glass all the time or does it have something that covers it with the flick of a switch? I can not imagine the heat in this freaking weather.

Its a manual shade, it does a pretty good job of shutting out all the sun when closed. The factory tint also does a decent job of keeping the UV and heat our of the cabin.

I'd believe that if all these stories going around about shitty transmissions and #8 pistons puking up their guts with a simple tune weren't going around.

Buy a auto and not worry about tranny issuse's There faster anyways,I have a simple tune and no issuse's
