Someone help me out here... what were those clear science toys from the 80's which were composed of clear spheres that connected together with octagon couplers? They had like gears and shit inside them, and you could put together crazy shit with electric motors that had fans, or underwater boats and shit.

My roommate made a drunk purchase of one of those. Still brand new, never been opened, in the box. Paid quite a bit for it. It arrived when he was sober, so he's afraid to open it, as it will cut the value in half LOL.

As a child I was a connoisseur of toy destruction. You name the toy, I can tell you how to most effectively blow it up, burn it, or destroy it. Every single toy I ever owned met it's fate by being blown up, or burned. Every. Single. One.

These were especially interesting. When you put them in the microwave the hairs would fall off. If you put them in for a minute, you would have a pile of hairs and a rubber ball.
