Why not make a wood platform to bolt the bottle too then some way to secure the platform to the car? Then the bottle can mount wherever you like.

Mine isn't exactly in the trunk, my battery is behind the bottle in the right rear of the trunk.

Mine is a hatch
Nothing to brag about but worked for me
Went with the ZEX Hose type blow off system, when I added a second
bottle tapped into the same bulkhead with a 2-1 adaptor

After

It will fit on the left , but it's tight. Also, I had to drop the tank to get the nuts on the bolts.

On the left side of the truck it's a very close fit. It's like the floor isn't wide enough.

the siphon tube will be at the bottom of the bottle and pointed down. you will want the valve facing the front of the car and the nipple the line hooks to pointing towards the ground to get the most out of the bottle and have the least risk of not pulling liquid. You can unscrew the bottle valve from an "empty purged" bottle and position the siphon tube at any location you prefer if it helps.

How do you guys have the nitrous bottles mounted in the trunk. I have the battery on the right rear of the trunk. It's don't seem to fit very well on the left side of the trunk. Anyone have any pics how there's is mounted. And does it matter what direction the bottle is mounted
