Zane is a great artist. Little too late was inspired by a bar I used to run. I met hime at Gruene hall when he opened for Aaron Watson. He stopped by one night on his way home from a gig. We talked for a while, ended up hooking him up to the karaoke guy's PA for an impromptu acoustic show. It took me 3 years to convince the owner to book him. He is a great guy, love his music!

The 97's new album comes out in a month. I don't have an advanced copy yet, but I've heard a fair amount of it and like it. It has the same Old 97's sound, but is a lot more raw uncensored feel to it.




BTW, they have a show at the AT&T Performance Art Center in downtown Dallas on 04.19.14. I've never been there and know nothing about it, but it should be a good show. For those of you Slobberbone fans, they are one of the openers.
