i was impressed with the GT.. and then it was pointed out that its a gutted whored out race car and its not quite " just a tune and a pully", the shop who put it out has been known to "warp the truth" about their setup..

The ZR1 isn't a drag car and wasn't meant to be. Meant for a road course. These cars are not made for just a straight line.

Most cars that will be bought will never see a road course, but rather used for casual street driving which is why you are seeing the comparisons.

Um, seeing as how a completely stock ZR1 on drag radials has gone low 10's, I don't think a gutted and substantially modded '13 GT500 has a lot of trash to talk to a ZR1.

$15K in a Fox body will fuck up a ZR1 all day, every day!

Its obvious you missed my point, the ZR1 is supposed to be Chevys flagship when it comes to performance, Ford doesn't have a two seater sports car like the Vette. And when its muscled up pony car steps up with performance to match, its chevy that should be scared, homer.

Look at the video of the BOSS and ZL1, more cubes and a SC, the BOSS only had a CAI and less cubes and you believe that it can keep up with a SVT GT500?
